At Lake Ridge Academy, community service isn't just an obligation; it's an integral part of who we are. We believe in fostering caring, responsible citizens who understand the importance of giving back. From kindergarteners baking treats for animals to Upper School students organizing charity races, there are countless ways to get involved and make a real difference.

  • Lower School

    Our youngest learners get involved through classroom projects. Kindergarteners might host a bake sale for the Animal Protective League (APL) with homemade pet treats, while 1st graders design and sell Valentine's Day cards.

  • Middle School

    The Middle School advisory program incorporates service learning. Students might visit senior centers, read to preschoolers, or organize a 5K Doggie Dash for the APL, fostering a spirit of helping others.

  • Upper School

    Upper School students embrace a culture of service. We offer numerous opportunities for students to volunteer locally and globally. The National Honor Society promotes these projects, ensuring everyone knows how to get involved.

  • Year of Service Kick-Off

    This annual event brings our entire school community together for a full day of service projects in neighboring towns and on campus. Working alongside teachers and peers, students of all ages build relationships and camaraderie while making a positive impact.

  • Holiday Project

    For over 20 years, we've partnered with the local community for the Holiday Project. This all-school effort raises money, food, and clothing, ensuring a brighter holiday season for needy families. We've consistently raised over $1,000 and 9 tons of food, keeping a local food pantry stocked for months!
