    You can either apply through your agency or directly through our online portal.
  • Gather Recommendations

    Two teacher recommendations are required; one must come from your English teacher.
  • Submit Transcripts

    Provide your official school records from the past two years, translated into English.
  • Showcase your English Skills

    Demonstrate your English language proficiency through TOEFL, TOEFL Jr., or ELTIS exams. (Our TOEFL code is C662)

Joining the LRA Family

Congratulations on your acceptance! Here's how to secure your spot:
  • Confirm Your Enrollment: Return the signed contract along with a 10% non-refundable deposit to secure your place.
  • Complete I-20 Requirements: Submit copies of your passport and proof of funding (SEVIS regulations require these forms) to receive your I-20 form for your student visa. Contact lacostej@lakeridgeacademy.org for address confirmation and FedEx delivery details.
  • Prepare for Health Needs: Provide copies of your health records, including immunization records. Review this list of required vaccinations.
  • New Student Orientation: Get ready for the upcoming school year! We'll hold a special orientation for all international students before classes begin. Admissions will share more details close to the date.

    We accept applications on a rolling basis, with space permitting. Apply early for the best chance of admission!
  • Do you offer ESL support?

    Absolutely! We provide dedicated English as a Second Language support for new international students.
  • When does the school year start?

    The school year typically begins in mid-August. Aim to arrive at least five days before classes begin to settle in and attend orientation.
  • Do you accept mid-year applicants?

    Yes, we do! Our second semester starts in early January.
  • Do you provide medical insurance?

    Students can obtain insurance through their agency or the school. Contact admissions for more details.
  • When will I receive my I-20?

    We'll send your I-20 with other enrollment materials upon receiving your signed contract, deposit, passport copy, and proof of funding. Please confirm your mailing address with admissions.
