Alumni Council

The Alumni Council has been revitalized!

Members of the Lake Ridge Academy Alumni Council serve as liaisons between Lake Ridge Academy and the Lake Ridge Academy Alumni  Association.

Expectations

  • Attend Meetings

    Regularly scheduled meetings of the Alumni Council shall be held at least three times annually and as often as necessary.
    • Members need to participate in person or by phone at least twice annually.
    • Meetings typically occur in late August/early September, November, February and May.
    • Meetings will be scheduled on a yearly basis.

  • Committees

    Each Council member will serve on at least one Alumni Council sub-committee; options include
    • Events
    • Young Alumni
    • Communications & Database
    • Networking & Recruitment/Nomination

  • Duties

    Duties include the promotion of Alumni Activities as they relate to
    • Social Events such as Reunion Weekend, Graduation, Networking Events, and Thanksgiving Events
    • Alumni Relations and communications
    • Admissions, Marketing, and Development assistance
    • Student mentoring
    • Attending and assisting with area alumni meetings and social gatherings
    • Contacting or communicating with alumni in respective areas related to geographical location and class year

  • Alumni Relations

    Support the initiatives and development of the Alumni Relations program.

  • Communication

    Communicate activities of the Council and Lake Ridge Academy to the Board of Directors and alumni.

  • Leadership

    Provide leadership to the Lake Ridge Academy community.

  • Promotion

    Assist in the promotion of Lake Ridge Academy goals to all members of the Lake Ridge Academy Alumni Association.
